A new program from Stageworks!!

We have an exciting new program we are launching called “Book Club Theatre”. We invite you to add a play to your book club reading list, come see a live performance of the play after you read the script and then discuss the play with the actors and other book club members from around the area! Reading and then seeing a play will add a whole new dimension to your discussion and you will meet other book clubs from the area!

We have tried to make it as easy as possible for you and we know it will be a novel (excuse the pun!) addition to your Book Club!

Here is how it works.

1. Review the Play List from our season and choose which play you would like to read.

2. Choose which “Book Club Friendly” performance you would like to attend and approximately how many members you think will attend.

3. Indicate if you would like to have dinner at the Center at Maestro’s Restaurant prior to the performance.

4. Indicate if you would like help ordering the plays for your group.

5. Indicate if you would like a list of Discussion Questions and suggestions for background information for your book club discussion.

6. Indicate if you want to stay for the “Talk Back” with the artists after the performance.

7. All ticket orders must be received 6 weeks prior to performance, using the enclosed ticket order form. Book Club Group Rate is applied.

8. Enjoy reading the play, enjoy discussing the play, enjoy seeing the show, and enjoy discussing the show with the actors, designers and director.
