- Since 1984, Stageworks' over 100 productions have provided employment and visibility for over 1,900 artists; 67% of the participants have been from minority groups.

Training and Developing Florida Artists
Stageworks provides artists with a support network, learning labs and a public forum for their work.
- In the twelve years, we have introduced 38 playwrights and their new works. These playwrights have since been awarded Florida Arts Council Fellowships (4), been produced by O'Neill Playwrights Center, had readings and been invited to perform at the Asolo Festival Theatre and hired to write/direct for Clairol and Pepsi-Cola.
Building Community Through Partnerships

Stageworks co-produces or sponsors at least one project with another arts or social service organization annually.
- Partnerships include Hillsborough County Board of Education and Arts Council of Hillsborough County (85-03), Tampa AIDS Network (92-03), National Conference (94-03), The Tampa Museum (91-94), 'R' Clubs (97-99) and Pinellas Board of Education (97-99), R Clubs (97-99), Boys and Girls Clubs, Pinellas (99-02), St. Pete Parks and Recreation (03-04), Blake Performing and Visual Arts High (03-04)

Promoting Regional, National and International Recognition
Stageworks provides Florida artists with regional, national and international recognition.
- Original works by our artists have toured throughout the state of Florida as well as seven other states, and at the Edinburgh and Hong Kong Theatre Festival Fringes as well as four major American museums.
